In January we had the pleasure of a College wide OFSTED inspection. SGS Create had a 3 day deep dive. The inspector was incredibly thorough, throughout their time with us they had 3 group student voice sessions, they spoke to 6 external stakeholders and observed lessons in all core subjects and vocational areas. The inspector spent significant time with our SLT, SENDCO and Russ in Maths, each day the inspector fed back to the wider OFTSED team and triangulated findings and established areas for more investigation if needed. The experience, although high stakes, was very encouraging, and the feedback throughout was overwhelmingly positive. SGS Create had a few key mentions within the final inspection report too.
“Leaders have been courageous in their development of new full-time provision for learners aged 14 to 16. They have committed substantial resources, time and research into developing the curriculum to ensure that it meets the needs of these young learners extremely well.”
