SGS Create offers up to 88 places each year for young people aged 14–16 who would benefit from a smaller, supportive learning environment.

How to Apply

1. Attend an Open Event

Students and parents/carers must attend an Open Event before applying. You'll have the opportunity to meet our team, explore our facilities and receive your unique application code.

2. Complete Your Application

Apply online using your event code. You'll also need to provide your latest school reports (academic, attendance and behaviour), a personal statement and a short video introducing yourself.

3. Application Review

We'll review your application, which may include an interview, discussions with your current school and involvement from the local authority where appropriate, to establish whether SGS Create is the right setting for you.

4. Offers and Next Steps

Application decisions are communicated by the end of May. Successful applicants will be invited to transition activities ahead of starting in September.

1–30 June – Second application window (if places remain available)

By 31 July – Second-round decisions communicated
