At SGS Create, our vision is to create an education environment that inspires you to be your best. With an aspirational, supportive and flexible curriculum with learners’ needs at its heart.
Learn Skills
Alongside studying core GCSEs they will develop skills and knowledge in other areas that are desired by employers. They will also complete work experience and carry out vocational study in a field they hope to pursue. We offer support from expert staff, ensuring that learners can achieve and progress.
Gain Qualifications
Learners choose to study a programme of core GCSE subjects which include English Language, Maths and Science. Learners also study a creative vocational pathway that is taught by experienced tutors in the wider college
Improve Confidence
The new centre is being developed specifically for 14-16 year old learners who are keen and willing to learn but do not suit the standard school system.
Be Creative and Respectful
Learners may not cope well with the structure in place at most secondary schools and/or suffer with social anxieties. Learners with an interest in the creative sectors will thrive at SGS Create.
Progress
With excellent progression routes in place at SGS College, we really are with our learners every step of the way.
Hello, I’m Tom Beer!
Headteacher at SGS Create.
SGS Create provides an innovative educational environment tailored for 14-16-year-olds for whom mainstream education is not suitable. Our provision ensures these students can access first-class facilities and a supportive learning environment that fosters their growth and well-being.
We cater to students who are keen to learn, may require additional pastoral support, therapeutic services, or simply an alternative approach. With a dynamic curriculum that blends essential subjects like English, Maths, and Science with creative and vocational pathways such as Art & Design, Games Design, and Music, we offer a holistic educational experience.
At SGS Create, students are encouraged to develop their creativity while receiving the individualised support they need to thrive, particularly in the creative sectors. Our commitment is to prepare them not only academically but also for the challenges of the modern world.
